Jamie Gelfman

Jamie Gelfman graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida in 2008, receiving her Bachelor Degree in Journalism, with a minor in History. During her undergraduate studies, Jamie interned for a publishing company as well as a multitude of law firms. She also served as a writing coach for the journalism department, as well as a history tutor.

Jamie received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2011, graduating cum laude. During law school, Jamie was the Executive Research Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy, served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing and Appellate Advocacy, and was a Research Assistant for Professor D. Daniel Sokol. Additionally, she earned Honors in Legal Research and Writing and Trial Practice, and earned a Book Award in Torts. During law school, Jamie interned for Honorable Marcia G. Cooke in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, as well as for criminal defense law firm, Eisenberg & Fouts, P.A.

Jamie focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance defense, premises liability and bad faith.

Jamie is a member of the Florida Bar.
